Effective date: September 15, 2026
These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you visit or use NetsTool. NetsTool is an independent website providing browser-based utilities for IP and network checks, DNS and server diagnostics, domain research, image conversion and preparation, code cleaning, HTML translation, word counting, QR and barcode work, and related digital tasks. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully, respect other people and systems, and read the limitations that apply to the particular tool you choose.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use NetsTool. The service is made available for personal, educational, accessibility, and professional work that is lawful and authorised. Some tools depend on public records, external providers, uploaded files, or browser capabilities and may change or be unavailable. These terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which explains data handling, and the information shown on the individual tool page.
NetsTool gives visitors access to a catalogue of focused tools and supporting explanations. The catalogue can include IP Location Checker, What Is My IP, Domain IP Lookup, IP Subnet and Range Calculators, DNS, Reverse DNS, SSL, Server Status and Port Scanner tools, Domain Age and Registration lookups, HTML/CSS/JavaScript cleaners, Word Counter, HTML Translator, image compressors, resizers, converters, Image to PDF, QR and barcode generators, and scanners. The names and available formats can change as the product is maintained.
You are responsible for choosing a tool that fits your purpose, entering information you have a right to use, checking the output, and keeping copies of original files or code. NetsTool does not guarantee that a page is suitable for a regulated workflow, that a result is complete, or that an external record is current. A tool result is a starting point for review, not an instruction to take a legal, financial, security, employment, medical, or operational action without appropriate verification.
You may use NetsTool for lawful personal, educational, research, publishing, accessibility, development, troubleshooting, and professional administration. Network and security utilities may be used only on systems, domains, addresses, or data that you own or are expressly authorised to test. You must comply with applicable law, contracts, provider rules, acceptable-use policies, privacy duties, and the instructions of the network owner. A result from NetsTool does not grant permission to access, scan, copy, monitor, or interfere with a system.
You must not use the site to launch denial-of-service activity, evade access controls, probe or scan an unauthorised target, harvest personal information, send spam, distribute malware, infringe copyright, upload unlawful or harmful material, automate requests in a way that burdens the service, scrape the catalogue for a competing copy, or attempt to bypass file, rate, or security controls. You must not misrepresent NetsTool output as a guarantee, certification, ownership record, or professional opinion. NetsTool may limit or block use that threatens the service, other users, providers, or the public.
Network, domain, DNS, SSL, and location results are snapshots. Records can be cached, changed, incomplete, privacy-protected, or unavailable, and different providers can return different values. Image conversions can change compression, color, metadata, animation, transparency, dimensions, or compatibility. Text counters can use rules that differ from another application, and cleaners or translators can change presentation without proving that code or language is correct. You must inspect results in the context where you intend to use them.
You keep ownership of material you submit, subject to the rights needed for NetsTool or its providers to receive, process, cache, transmit, and return that material for the requested function. You confirm that you have permission to upload or translate it and that doing so does not violate another person's privacy, copyright, contract, or confidentiality. Do not upload passwords, private keys, payment details, health information, legal files, or confidential client material unless you have assessed the risk and the stated processing is appropriate. The Privacy Policy explains temporary processing and provider sharing.
The NetsTool name, interface, page presentation, original explanations, logos, and site code are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. These terms give you permission to use the public service; they do not transfer ownership or permit you to copy the catalogue, reproduce substantial page content, mirror the interface, remove notices, or build a competing service from automated extraction. You may keep and share your own lawful output, subject to the rights in the source material and any third-party format, font, library, or provider terms.
Some functions rely on public registries, DNS infrastructure, geolocation and abuse databases, Google Translate, Google Maps, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google advertising services, hosting providers, or other external systems. Those services may have separate terms, availability limits, data practices, and attribution requirements. An external link or provider response does not mean that NetsTool controls or endorses that service. If a provider is unavailable or changes its response, NetsTool may return an incomplete result without being able to correct the provider's data.
NetsTool is provided on an 'as available' basis to the extent permitted by law. The site may experience maintenance, outages, provider failures, browser incompatibilities, rate limits, file-size limits, processing errors, or security restrictions. NetsTool does not promise uninterrupted service, a particular response time, a particular conversion quality, complete accuracy, permanent download availability, or compatibility with every device or format. You are responsible for backups and for deciding whether a result is adequate before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NetsTool and the people or providers involved in operating it are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from use or inability to use the site, an external provider, a submitted file, or a tool result. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, limits mandatory consumer rights, or prevents a remedy required by law. If your use of the site causes a claim, loss, or investigation because you acted without authorisation or breached these terms, you are responsible for the consequences to the extent the law allows.
NetsTool may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a tool, page, provider, file format, or part of the site when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, capacity, or product improvement. We may also restrict access where use appears abusive, automated, unlawful, or likely to harm another person or system. Ending use does not remove responsibilities that arose before access ended, including rights in submitted material, intellectual property restrictions, acceptable-use duties, and limitations that are intended to continue.
These terms may be updated when the site or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how the service is used, the updated page should be reviewed before continued use. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or submitted through Contact Us. NetsTool is not currently publishing a separate registered-office address on this page, so users should use the public email for notices and clarification. If a notice concerns a specific tool, include its URL and enough safe context to identify the issue. These terms do not create a guaranteed support, uptime, monitoring, or professional-advice relationship.
